Ms. Caren Mann is a School Counselor at Susquenita Elementary for grades 3-4.

Ms. Mann received her degree in Elementary School Counseling from the University of Scranton and her Secondary Certificate in School Counseling from Eastern University. Ms. Mann was most recently a school counselor at Susquenita High School, and was previously a middle school counselor for 13 years.

Over the years, Miss Mann has had the privilege of working with many wonderful people and has learned so much from others. Students have a way of teaching us about resiliency and can bring out the best in us.

When she is not at work, she spends time with her two children, traveling, enjoying time outdoors, watching movies and attending live music events.

Ms. Heather Knouse is a School Counselor at Susquenita Elementary School for grades K-2.

Ms. Knouse previously taught ELD K-12 at Susquenita for nine years before transitioning to the counseling role. Ms. Knouse earned a BA in Elementary Education and a MA in Language and Literacy with ESL certification in teaching from Millersville University. In 2024 she earned a MA in School Counseling from Messiah University. Ms. Knouse has had the privilege of working with and serving many families at Susquenita and is excited to assist in her new role as a school counselor.

When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her kids, attending sporting events and traveling.
